5120 Restaurant & Onyx Bar is a Modern American Cuisine Restaurant with Mediterranean influences. It’s a neighborhood gem located in the Country Inn & Suites Hotel in the heart of Bloomington. It has a gorgeous ambience and is commonly chosen for weddings.

Mary Poppins is back and on stage at Chanhassen Dinner Theatres, located just 15 minutes west of our city. Although this beloved Broadway musical is appropriate for children age 5 and over, none under the age of 5 will be admitted.

You can purchase “show only” tickets for “Mary Poppins,” or come for dinner and the show. Their menus are available to view online here.

Check out the Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge in Bloomington. It was established in 1976 to provide a habitat for a plethora of migratory fish, waterfowl and other threatened wildlife species. The Minnesota Zoo is a great place to explore a variety of animals, and learn about their habitats, what they eat, and a load of other educational facts. The Zoo is conveniently located at 13000 Zoo Boulevard Valley.

The animals are neatly displayed, and paved walkways will lead you to each one. There are over 4,300 animals housed in the Minnesota Zoo, and they continually add more. The “Make a Splash” fundraiser for the Mary Moon Foundation is this weekend at Water Park of America. They’re offering discounted admission tickets, games, food, entertainment and a silent auction.

It happens Sunday, March 8, from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and tickets are $15 (kids under 18 months are admitted free). Buy them online at the Mary Moon Foundation website. While you’re there, be sure to register and fill out the mandatory waiver form.
