Good at Bargain Hunting?
Can you imagine trying to cook a meal without basic kitchen utensils or dry off after a shower with no towel? The good people at Bridging say that thousands of Twin Cities folks attempt this every day.
To help, they’re asking that you host an “Essentials Drive,” to help collect some of these items. These events can be held at your church, workplace or other areas around Bloomington.
Here’s an example of what Bridging needs to supply the essentials to Bloomington individuals and families:
- Kitchen Pack: Dish towel, spatula, can opener and mixing spoon. They need more than 80 of these packs every week.
- They also need all sizes and types of towels. Their goal is to provide one bath towel per person or, 13,000 per year! And, don’t forget pillows – they need those too.
- Seasonal Packs: Ask about these.
Bridging is located at 201 West 87th Street in Bloomington. Reach them by phone at 952.460.3750 or visit the website.
