Have you been to Davanni’s Pizza & Hot Hoagies yet? It’s St. Paul’s favorite pizza spot because it’s been around since 1975 over at the corner of Cleveland and Grand. It’s a family-owned and operated local favorite featuring the best pizzas and hot hoagies.

It’s so delicious because they use local ingredients that are seasonal and fresh. You’ll feel like a family member with their welcoming staff of employees. If you haven’t visited this local favorite, come see why their 40 years of dedication have given them a great reputation for quality food, a strong work ethic and never-changing values.

About Davanni’s

Davanni’s is known for being “local” and “legendary.” They are a community favorite because they treat all guests like family and love all of their friends, family and neighbors. They like to work with the local community and keep community involvement up. They like to give back to the community through fundraisers and youth team sponsorships. You can stop in for a meal, order delivery or buy gift cards for your loved ones.

The restaurant first opened at 41 South Cleveland as the first shop to offer hot hoagies in the Twin Cities. A few months later they were able to offer lunch for the first time. They featured nine styles of hoagies and a NY style pizza, the first of its kind in the Twin Cities.

The menu is always expanding and certain items, like the White Pizza and Garlic Cheese Bread, have stood the test of time. They expanded to 4 more shops by the 70s and in the 80s, even more opened up. Today, they have over 1000 employees and over 1509 combined years of experience between the entire staff.

What to Expect

Along with a massive history and a ton of expansion, you can expect a friendly atmosphere and healthy food at Davanni’s Pizza & Hot Hoagies. They use little salt and sugar in the dough, sauce is made from fresh tomatoes rather than paste and you can easily have a balanced meal if you eat it in moderation.
